Their colour matching guide from one of their products to the other is extremely accurate as I used one shade from the flawless filter to match to the foundation and it did it perfectly. Here’s the products I’ve tried from Charlotte tilbury and my thoughts, hopefully it will be helpful to someone:Īirbrush flawless foundation: if you like full and I mean FULL coverage matte finish this foundation might just be for you. The Pillow Talk lipstick is nice enough, but nothing to write home about. Light Wonder is my favorite of the three, but I prefer Mac Face and Body by leaps and bounds, so I never reach for LW. I’ve tried Magic, Airbrush Flawless Finish, and Light Wonder. None of the foundations really work for me. The packaging is gorgeous and also refillable which is nice. Every once in a while I’ll pull it out to enhance my cream bronzer a bit. Having said that, I’m mostly a cream product junkie so mine sits there unused most of the time. It’s very smooth and applies beautifully with no stamping. I think the powder bronzer is one of the nicest on the market (the bronzer that’s sold alone, not the duo). Also, if you purchase one of these, be ready for it to feel like it’s half empty already fresh out of the box, because they always do. I wish they were in different packaging because the sponge is gross, but the formula is really nice. As I have a relatively small makeup collection and don't like to waste anything I'm happy to pay the extra to get a product that I know will work first time. I know that when I order any product from her it is going to work, and will end somewhere between "nice" and "holy grail". I've wasted a lot of money buying cheaper products that don't work for me in colour or formula. One company will do a better bronzer, another a better lipstick, there's definitely better eyeshadows, but no other company has "the whole package".Īs there are no specialty makeup retailers in my town (just supermarket and pharmacy brands with no testers), any makeup I buy is online and I can't colour match, test or swatch anything. However, there's not a single brand (in my opinion) that can compare with CT in terms of performance and reliability across their entire range. I'm sure there are better products in terms of value or performance out there. I think Charlotte Tilbury is overpriced in terms of each individual product compared to the market.
